Things have been pretty dull around the ole homestead. My parents came for a fast visit which was great and I miss them already. We are gearing up for a visit from Jon's brother tomorrow night.
I have been doing little homey things like baking bread and tonight I spent about an hour putting teak oil on one chair...yeah...one chair. Many small sections on that one chair.
I am not sure if it was the busy factor being away from the gym, or the fact that the hammock had been dried out in the sun for the last three years, but I heard a tiny rip rip ripping and found myself on the ground. :(
Fourth of July was spent at the beach and then watching the fireworks from our friend's rooftop. We ended the evening with some sparklers.
I think I will cap the evening with a lime fruit flo jo and call it a night. Hope all is well with everyone.
