In 'N Out

So, today at the office we were treated to In 'N Out Burger. They brought over the cookout trailer and served all the employees. I have been waiting for this day. :)

The trailer did not look this sweet. It was parked in the parking lot outside the hospital and had a long line of tired looking employees surrounding it. I would have liked the grass better than the parking lot, but hey Free Burgers...who can complain. I ate a delicious Double DoubleYUM!

In 'N Out is a West Coast establishment with a pretty simple menu (it also has a special menu that people know about and can order specialty orders from). I only indulge every so often, but it is sooo good. Jon and I know some people who boycott this establishment because the company is christian and they have bible verses on alot of their paper products. I believe these people are just a little too crazy. They are just jealous and drouling. They are missing out bigtime. I bet they also boycott another favorite of mine which is Chick-fil-a, another fast food meca that is closed on Sundays because the owners are baptists.

The only problem with all of this fast food is that I felt like this after lunch today:

For Easter this year, got together with friends to have a ham dinner and played a lot of yahtzee. Good times. Hope everyone had a good Easter. I will try and send warm weather your way...we got lots of it.

Two size 2s and two size 0s make it a size 4.

You know when you find something fabulous and you think....mmm I really must have that. Well, I found a dress that I thought would be perfect for a future occasion and so I went online to order it since the store only had two size 2s and two size 0s. Like most of the stores here in California.

Unfortunately they were completely out online. Nada, nothing. I am not sure why they keep it active on their website as it is really just a tease that no one can have it. :(
But isn't it just dreamy?

So, over the past few weeks the activities have been: Anaheim Hockey Game, Spring Fashion Show for Charity, and cursing stores in the area for only having sizes for people under the age of 10.

I have been working on quite a bit in the office...we have a golf tournament coming up and I am trying to raise money for it. Anyone want to come to Southern California to play golf?

Message from Sir Woodrow

My job has been very hard lately. As head kitty (and only kitty) of the household I have been on constant alert for any noises, movements or food that appear in this residence. I don't think the humans realize that I have a 24/7 career protecting them from the evils that could ensue.
I do have some free time to enjoy the things that I like best. My favorites happen to be sleeping on my back, tearing the plastic off the newspapers, securing my dominance over the red cube, eating popcorn, tomato soup and cheese...cannot get enough of that tomato soup.
I have been working on my weight. With my knightly "sir" title it is hard to keep up with the demands of staying strong and handsome. My regime is to chase the laser pointer and use the stairs as my gym. I do have a before photo that I will release as soon as I work a little on toning up the belly. In the meantime I believe I will ask the humans for a good brushing....eliminating the puffiness that occurs with my luxurious coat. Very demanding work, I believe I am due a nice nap today for it all.

Yum....cake

So, not much happened in my world this weekend...the usual..laundry, cleaning, watching movies. Saw a little indie film entitled, "Things to Do". It started out slow and I thought I would not be able to make it through because the acting was a little stiff, but I am glad I held out because it turned out to be a pretty funny little film.

Because I did not have time or energy to take pictures of things at home, I will link to some things that I think are pretty divine. So, dessert...who can really say no. I love these cake designs and I have a feeling that I would not be able to eat them because they are works for art: This cake is by: http://www.sarahmagid.com/index.html

This next one is off of a contest where you can vote on your favorite cake: http://www.brides.com/brides/cakes
Ohhh, and if you vote for your favorite cake you may win it....so go and vote for a cake you like and then maybe we can all have it at my wedding. :)
Right now I have a fabulous plan for the dessert part of the reception, but hey...we can always add a free cake. :)
